Digital marketing now is a very important tool in the promotional mix of the products and services as the companies can reach a larger audience in a shorter time with economic cost comparing with the other promotional media channels.

Digital marketing term used In 1993 with the coming of the internet and development of Web 1.0 platform, in this period users can find the information but can’t be able to share it over the web ,so marketers did not be able to use it as effective tool for promotion .

In 1994, Yahoo was launched and new technologies enter the digital marketplace.

In 1998 was the birth of Google and Microsoft launched the MSN search engine and Yahoo brought to the market Yahoo web search and this leads to improve the digital market place.

In 2006, the search engine traffic was reported to have grown to about 6.4 billion in a single month then followed by development of Web 2.0 that allowed users to interact with other users and businesses.

Social networking sites began to emerge and opened fresh avenues for business and startups with new resources, new approaches to promote their brands & capitalize on the social networking platform.

Products marketed digitally are now available to customers at all times, planning, monitoring activities and digital market analysis all over the world are easily to be applied and tracked.

After COVID 19 the promotional channels all over the world totally differ and the digital marketplace is the king of kings now, so if you need to start with your digital activities and penetrate the digital marketplace you should firstly perform consistent actions at the right time via the most suitable online channels to increase revenue and improve relationships with your audience which is called digital marketing strategy.

The complexity of a digital marketing strategy primarily depends on the size of your business and your long-term goal. If you have just launched your business, you may only need to make a few simple steps using one or two digital channels.
